Bali Mission Accomplished!

the very last minute plan to go Bali as I received a call from my cousin bf (Lee).. 

he told me that he's going to propose to my cousin (Winnie)! and of course, it's a secret.. 

and I am so excited, but worry that I couldnt take any leave for that as it's too sudden.. (just two weeks before the proposal date)

at last, I got the leaves successfully! and YES! I AM GOING TO BE PART OF THE SURPRISE PROPOSAL!

and another cousin (amanda) will go with me as well! 

Arrange everything in two weeks time.. it's such short period! 

but yea, we did it well! =D

on the day itself, our flight is just half an hour diff.. as they fly from Melbourne, we fly over from Malaysia. and our flight was delayed. So worry that we will bump into each other in airport @@

luckily, their flight was delayed too.. 

because of these delays.. our proposal time postponed till very late.. @@

supposedly, they reach the villa around 3+ pm.. and take a rest.. then they will go to Nusa Dua for dinner at 5+.. me and Amanda will sneak into the Villa that they stay to start decorations.. 

at the end, they went out at around 7+.. we reached the villa at around 7+ too.. 

and we start the deco..

the people in the villa are very helpful.. they helped us to decorate too =D

and until 11+.. Lee finally back to villa! and he left winnie at the counter.. we set up everything..

and he called to the counter to ask Winnie to walk back.. and the proposal begins!

it's so touching... =)

Making of Macaroons. =D

when we bought, it's including all the ingredients that needed.. convenient and easy~!

just to mix the ingredients together.. 

and squeeze them on the baking paper =D

oh well.. we are not professional.. so the shapes are all different ~ 

haha!

and pre-heat the oven for 10 mins.. and put them in..

wait them to raise~ 

tik tok tik tok~ super excited to see them to raise~

and wait them to cool.. 

at the same time.. mix another ingredients for the fillings..

and match them up!

yeah! the macaroons are done!

too thick to be bake.. so it doesnt taste good thou..

but it looks cute! 

and make a cup of coffee..

One Day in Ipoh.

it's the last day for the mega long weekend~

and was busy with housework as going to move into new house this weekend~

had planned for a hot spring trip with family in one of the holidays..

and yea.. here we go~

was having super nice weather on that day.. 

depart to the Sungkai hot spring after breakfast~

after two hours journey.. here we reached~

Felda Residence hot springs~

thanks to victor chew to be driver on that day~

there were too many people there.. 

so, we decided to just having a group photo there before we run to Ipoh~

the first stop in Ipoh~

忠记兵如港口大树头炸料粉~

there are two stalls selling the same thing.. remember is this 忠记~

we went to the wrong stall at first.. and we notice this board there~ =D

and ordered some other food like rojak~

fried oyster.. and others.. all of these are just taste so-so..

and the main food were here~

the yong tau fu and laksa~

like the laksa and the big yong taufu~ =D

worth to wait~ 

the next destination..the murals street~ 

(supposedly got no chance to visit these as it was started to rain heavily when we finished the lunch, and yea.. lucky~ it stopped raining after awhile)

the weather doesn't really good that day..

and we were lucky that there was no rain when we visited all these places..

when we get back to our car, it started to rain again~

and the next destination --> finding bread to feed big fishes~ =D

and we end up to 7 eleven to buy the bread~

super huge fishes in the lake~~

and the view is really really nice =)

after this, heading for dinner~

and we reached 糖水街 for the dinner~

had this hor hee~ which is only available in Ipoh~

it's like glass noodle with the fishballs~

and it tastes yumm~ =)

and tried this duck feet wrap..

hmm..it's not my taste though~ 

it's too hard and i dun really like it..

ordered a mixed fruits ice too~

it looks nice.. but the rainbow ice cream doesn't taste good~

it taste like medicine @@

and the last~ grilled octopus with the rojak sauce and peanuts~

=)

last but not least, a big smile to end our one day trip =D

*the journey back to kl was terrible, it's so jammed from ipoh all the way down to kl~

and yea, luckily the driver is not me* haha~

Vietnamese Food - Ban Mi Cafe, Bandar Puteri

crave for an authentic Vietnamese food in KL..

and been introduced by one of my hiking buddies to this place~

It's surprisingly good and nice! =D

It's located behind Hospital Columbia, Bandar Puteri, Puchong.

If there's no one recommend this place, we will never know there's hidden gem there..haha~

the ordinary outlook of the restaurant.

and yea. here comes to our group photo ! say cheese~

and the menu. it looks old yea.. think this restaurant had opened for quite some time..

and of course. the must-order Vietnamese coffee!

you need to put the condensed milk yourself after the coffee finish dripping. 

after that, stir, and put them into ice~ and here you go the vietnamese iced coffee!

and the banh mi~

with crispy bread~ =D

and the noodles~ I forgot their names~~ hahaha!

Bánh xèo

It's savoury Vietnamese crepe. stuffed with veges and pork as well as some fresh herbs, such as mints, Thai basils etc.. and it goes with the fresh lettuce.

It's not in the menu.. Mayb you can show them the pic if u wanna to try it out =D

it's yam and pork wrapped inside! and they matched well together =D

hmm.. this is quite normal.. nothing special. but it's still nice thou =)

it's stuffed by rice vermicelli, veges and pork =D

Bánh Bột Lọc

it's chewy. and it wrapped with shrimp. It's like chee cheong fun here.

Bo Kho 

stewed beef! love the tenderness of the beef~

and the sauce is so nice to dip with baguette. =D

(I dun hav clear photo of this dish.. =( too rush to take as we all cant wait to enjoy the food! =P)
