The Black Kettle, Melbourne

A throwback post =)
visited my second home last month.. was a really random decision..
so not much plan for this trip, but just keep eating eating and eating..
therefore, i am suffering to keep myself fit now..

The Kettle Black is located at Albert road, is a traditional Victorian house.
you can see it's unique among the modern building around.
it was quite packed when we visited to Kettle Black, but luckily the waiting time didn't take too long..
and the waiters/waitresses there were all so friendly =)

The menu. is just simple. =)

we ordered a Chai soy latte.. a little bit of disappointed as it doesn't taste so good.

and ordered a soy mocha and soy mocha, we requested to change the milk to soy milk, so that it won't be so fattening..

I forgot what is this already. but i remembered the prawns were really fresh~!

Tataki Ocean Trout with raw kale & pickled vege salad, seaweed, almonds & a pouched eggs.
AUD21

the salmon and the pouched egg.

Hot cake with ricotta, blueberries, pure maple, double cream, seeds and nuts.
AUD20
it took around 15-20 mins to prepare. the hot cake is really nice. it's fluffy and soft.
but that's too much for three pax. @@
